KentSCP Live-in Service

KentSCP’s Live-in care service is a high quality 24 hour live-in service that provides a personalized care service to people of all ages, disabilities and needs,  in their own home.
Some of the more usual  reasons for selecting a live-in care service may include:

      You are no longer able to cope on your own
      You need assistance with Personal care (washing, dressing etc)
      You may have mobility issues
      You may be prone to falls and accidents
      You may need assistance with household duties including laundry and meal preparation
      You may be lonely and need companionship
      You may be recovering from a hospital stay or an illness
      You do not want to go into a care home at this point
      You want to remain in the comfort of your own home with familiar surroundings

KentSCP’s Live-in Care service is regulated by the CQC (Care Quality Commission) and you can be assured that our recruitment process complies with the Care Standards Act 2000 and all current employment legislation.  Our care workers will be fully trained in line with the Common Induction Standards and will all have a full enhanced CRB check.

The Service provided will include as standard:

     Companionship including accompanying on social activities and appointments

     Housekeeping and light domestic duties including Laundry and Shopping

     Personal care including assistance with Washing, dressing, toileting/Continence

     Preparation of fresh and healthy meals

`   Assisting with medication management

Please remember, our care workers are not trained nurses, however specialist training can be arranged via the district Nurse for more complex care, such as Stoma Care, Peg Feeding, Catheter Care  etc.

Live-in Care can be for short periods, such as when recuperating from an illness, or for the  long term.  In most cases, we will introduce two care workers to you, who will normally work two weeks on and two weeks off (swapping with the second care worker).  We will endeavour to ensure that you will have the same care worker(s) throughout the duration of the live-in service.

KentSCP operate a 24hour out-of-hours service.  Our On-call staff are available to answer your emergency calls and will be able to help you if you have any problems that need dealing with once the office has closed at 5.pm and weekends. 

This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
